Why do we ask for guidance?
I was two paragraphs into this article before I realized I was on the wrong track. I picked up my I Ching coins and let a question emerge over the direction and content of my writing.
I offered my question to “the Sage”, the ancient guide who speaks through the I Ching, and dropped the three coins onto the table. There was my answer!
Is clarity within us all along? Perhaps, sometimes, we just need another – a friend, a counselor, or an intuitive reader – to draw out this clarity and reflect it back to us. Another option is to offer our questions humbly and sincerely to the sages, guides and angels – the invisible helpers who are ever ready to offer their divine assistance.

Mark, I’m always impressed by the clear and direct connection you have with spirit guides and angels and the profound, useful information that comes through. Could you describe what you’re experiencing while accessing these channels of communication?
Thank you for your kind words, David. When I am tuning in, I feel very alive, very present and very grateful for the guidance that is coming through. Simultaneously, I feel very connected to the angels and guides while also being fully present in the physical space with the client or group I am working with.
I use my free will to ask for guidance: “Thank you, Mother/Father God, thank you Archangels and Ascended Masters for the perfect guidance for David, right now.” By asking specifically, it means that only one thing can happen, which is clear guidance for David. This is like dialing a phone.

How can empaths find relief and return to center by working with the angels?
Angels clear and create space. The goal for each of us is to have our thoughts, our feelings, our energy and our bodies be our own. We live in an intense time in which most people are agitated and anxious.
With the use of simple techniques, we can work with the angels to create a shield around us in which love flows and fear stops. What is asked of us in that process is to drop out of living by default (the cultural status quo) and to instead live by choice (what we want to happen).
Choosing not to take on the energy of others – but to simply notice it instead – is a game-changing choice, as it creates room for change. The angels will help us in that process.

This integration of unconditional love and wisdom into physical life is how we will have peace on this planet in our lifetimes.
