For the last week, I’ve spent time each day consciously being in a state of Oneness. Oneness is a space where we acknowledge that everything is part of the same energy. We are all One. Another way to say this is that Oneness is unconditional love.

I have been practicing this in places where there are lots of people, like on the subway in New York this past week. I consciously see everyone as love. What happens for me is the ego filter melts away, and I see everyone as beautiful and brilliant. It becomes abundantly clear that everyone is doing their best with the consciousness that they have. Also, I am in the present moment.

Let’s practice this right now. Take in a deep breath. Allow yourself to begin to notice that everything is the same energy – love. The computer, tablet or phone you are reading this on is love. the words you are reading now are love. The space between yourself and the device is love. You are love. The environment you are in is love. Everyone around you is love. Everyone is doing their best. You are doing your best.
