2016 was a year of agitation. The death of icon after icon combined with division being repeatedly broadcast at us diminished our sense of safety. That is what has happened. The angels identify this as a great time on the planet. Why? Everything is exposed. Nothing is hidden. Our work is clear: To not get caught up in hate and fear, but to focus our hearts on the truth of life – love. This is the moment when we work beyond words to embrace all of humanity and become masters of love.
How do we do that? By focusing on ourselves first. The angels are encouraging us to go back to the basics of what centers us individually. Clear intentions. High vibrations. Heartfelt reminders. By doing this first, we don’t get caught in the overwhelming idea of changing a nation or the world by ourselves. We center, and that ripples out. As a team, we lead with love.
The steps the angels suggest are:
– Dropping out of fearful circumstances. [This might involve an American media fast. International news covers the whole world.]
– Heeding your guidance.
– Having the faith to move forward into healthy patterns.
– Take small action steps for yourself.
For me, going back to the basics has included returning to the work of Ram Dass. Last week, this quote by him was shared, which mirrors the angel’s guidance for this time:
“I think that you and I are being called upon to do some incredible work, but it is also really demanding work. I think it demands that out of our compassion for all beings and for the future of the earth, we work on ourselves with great joy, and with every single pointed effort.
The vulnerability of each of our minds to get trapped into old habits, of getting caught into the world of good and evil, of dark and light, of success and failure… we are all tremendously vulnerable to that, and while I think that there is a shared awakening between us in realizing our predicament, there is not yet enlightenment. We are not “home free”… We just know of the possibility.
We see people through the veil of the fear-driven paranoia that comes from getting trapped in one’s separateness; and when we break out of that, we experience a compassion that is not pity and not kindness; but a compassion borne of identifying with the people around you.”
-Ram Dass
With regard to icons dying, during the last Angel Healing Call (every Monday) we addressed the death of George Michael, who was dear to several of the participants. The angels said: The artists who have passed are people who expressed themselves well and have used vibration to enrich life. In the course of our work, John Lennon came forward. He said: There is a plan and a reason. The plan: All of the icons that have passed perfectly understood mass communication. The current misuse of mass communication can use a correction. The reason: These master communicators are positioned to help amplify our highest choices. They are available to us as guides and guideposts.
David Bowie has been a helpful guide this year (after hearing “Golden Years” five times on one discouraging day, the first line of the song popped into my head – “Don’t let me hear you say life’s taking you nowhere, angel.”). My friend Rose had the insight that Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds acted like godmothers of the Earth (read my friend Jeni’s story about Debbie).
Thank you for reading. Tonight and tomorrow (1/2 & 1/3), I am offering Visioning 2017 calls, details below.
Blessings,
