When grace appears in our lives, we take notice. It can come in the clarity you see in someone’s eyes when they speak words of truth from a completely ego-less place. We notice because in the presence of their non-ego, our own egos have no place to go. We become available to listen. Non-attachment is this grace.
In the core of us, we all possess a pure understanding on non-attachment. When we tap into this reservoir of peace, we can view our lives, our relationships, our circumstances and patterns with loving clarity, free of the veils of emotion and judgment. The ego is absent.
The distance between where we are now and where we want to be typically takes a long detour into the past to load up on old experiences and beliefs. What interests me now is to have that journey completely bypass the past, and, with total faith and zero attachment, focus on what is ahead. On what we want. On what is new. Attachment-free, illusion-free living. Grace.
