Guidance to make a change comes to us repeatedly until we take action. When we don’t heed the guidance, The Universe brings it up again, perhaps in more noticeable ways. The magnitude of the events of last Friday have got everyone’s attention. At this precise moment in our lives, each of us has the opportunity to shift out of the belief that violence and killing people are acceptable, and to focus on the actions we can take to create a world that is pervasively peaceful.
This moment is not polarizing, but unifying. We get to be united in our recognition that fear is at the root of all violence. We get to see the fear behind the belief that possessing a weapon makes you safe. The fear is about powerlessness. It is a reaction to old information. We can be united in establishing a clear vision of a world in which there is peace in every aspect of our lives. A world free of dispute. A world of cooperation and compassion. With this clear vision in place, the changes to be made in our immediate reality become obvious and simple, like changing gun laws. These changes can be made with vision, which takes us out of the idea of a fight.
This is a powerful moment of choice on the planet. Our silence makes us complicit with violence. Expressing our choice of peace moves us into place of power, as we are using our free will to create the world we want.
Our individual changes create global shifts.
